In 1994, Ariel Ohana established Ohana & Co. in Paris as a boutique advisory, inspired by a commitment to support companies and brands through strategic M&A and investment insights. This year marks the 30th anniversary of Ohana & Co., a milestone in its evolution from a local French boutique to an international investment bank, with offices in Paris, New York, and Los Angeles. Guided by Ariel’s vision, the firm has become a trusted partner to global brands across consumer goods, luxury, healthcare, media, technology, and digital sectors.
Over the past three decades, Ariel has thoughtfully led more than 100 transactions, forging relationships with respected clients throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Notable clients he advised include large corporates, including LVMH, Procter & Gamble, Coty, AmorePacific, and Kose Corp, as well indie brands such as Diptyque, Hourglass, Juliette has a Gun, Parade, Sergio Tacchini, and ReVive Skincare.
Ariel holds a graduate degree from HEC School of Management (Jouy-en-Josas, France), a CEMS Master’s (joint degree with ESADE, Barcelona), and a Master in Business Law and International Tax Law from the Université de Paris.
After opening the New York office in 2014, Ariel opened the West Coast office in Los Angeles, where he continues to pursue his dual passions: as an investment banker and aspiring tennis player (one backhand at a time).
